Before glimpsing the fascinating future of the Super Duke, a short flashback: in 2005, the first pure street twin with the name Super Duke rolls out of the KTM halls and changes the world of motorcycles. Extremely agile and muscular, the bike lives up to its name – an unmistakable machine, with an aggressive sound, a bike to fit no pre-conceived notions and keeping out of no competitor’s way. Over the years, the Super Duke gets even hotter. Its power increases – as does its fan community.

The success of this uniquely dynamic motorbike confirms the veracity of KTM’s commitment to the Naked Bike, opening the door for further models. The merciless street fighter becomes the leader of a veritable pack of exhilarating bikes – all of them light, pure, top quality, and all without fairings. In 2011, KTM hits the bull’s eye of the small displacement segment with the 125 Duke. Almost 10,000 motorcyclists hop up, by no means just beginners.

Just a year later, KTM stages another energetic escalation with the upgraded entry-level version 200 Duke, and puts the latest LC4 generation of the 690 Duke onto the grid – with well-known ingredients for maximum riding fun; with plenty of Single thrust at minimal weight; but also with more practicality, thanks to Drive-by-Wire and ABS. Another year later, there comes the athletic 690 Duke R, while at the same time, the brand new 390 Duke makes ready – a reasonable fun bike that will bring incredible enjoyment to riders all over the world.

In EICMA Show 2012, KTM Duke family will have the top version of the KTM Super Duke R 1290 in prototype form. Currently KTM Duke family consists of 200, 390, 690, 690 Duke R and 990 Super Duke R. KTM 1290 Super Duke R using trellis chassis. All new KTM 1290 Super Duke R using 1,3 liter engine.

The impressive torque, typical of the Ducati L-Twin engines, will excite with every twist of the throttle.

Monster Trellis
An immensely strong but light tubular steel Trellis frame with aluminium rear sub-frame is the visual and structural backbone of the Monster. Delivering unparalleled rigidity with minimal mass, the chassis design is pure Ducati in its ingenuity and simplicity. A separate, all aluminium sub-frame saves weight and adds a pleasing continuity with the aluminium footrest hangers and matte finished swingarm.

All New Ducati Monster 795 using 90-degree V-Twin 803 cc engine that can generate power 87 hp at 8.250 rpm and 79 Nm of torque at 6.250 rpm. This engine combined with six-speed transmission. The suspension uses Marzocchi 43 mm on the front and monoshock inthe rear. Ducati Monster 795 2012 available in a choice of three colors; red and black, Arctic White Silk and Diamond Black Silk.

Ducati’s Testastretta 11° harnesses the immense power of the Superbike engine and makes it smooth and adaptable, a massive step forward in balancing high-performance with an enjoyable ride. For an engine with brute power on tap when needed and smooth, user-friendliness available for an effortless and comfortable ride, Ducati revised the configuration of the cam timing with particular focus on the valve overlap angle.

The overlap angle is defined as the interval of crankshaft rotation, measured in degrees, during which both the intake and exhaust valves are open at the same time. This overlap occurs between the end of the exhaust stroke and the start of the intake stroke. High performance engines, which are subject to compromising smoothness for extreme power delivery, use high values of this parameter in order to benefit from the pressure waves to improve engine performance by maximising volumetric efficiency.

On the Testastretta 11° engine, this angle has been reduced from 41°, used in the Testastretta Evoluzione engine which powers the 1198, to 11°. 2013 Ducati Diavel Strada still uses Testastretta 11° engine, L-Twin cylinder, four valve / cylinder, Desmodromic, and with cooled liquid. The power and torque resulting from fuel injection engine of capacity 1.2 liters (162 hp and 127,5 Nm). Ducati only offer color Race Titanium.
